Play weekdays, not weekends. Green fees at premium Da Nang courses run 10–20% higher on Saturdays and Sundays. If your itinerary is flexible, shift rounds to weekdays.
Ask about twilight rates. Teeing off after 2–3pm can cut green fees significantly at several central Vietnam courses, and the heat is more manageable too.
Travel shoulder season. February–April is the best overlap window for both Da Nang and Hanoi golf, with fewer crowds than the December–March peak.
Eat where the locals eat. Street food and small local restaurants cost a fraction of hotel dining and, in our experience, were often better anyway.
Book tee times early. Popular Da Nang courses fill up 6–8 weeks ahead in high season — last-minute bookings can mean higher rates or your first-choice course being unavailable.
